Eastern Michigan University Department of Art

Exposure to a wide range of exhibits and lectures is an important part of an art education, as well as a way to successfully engage the larger public. To this end, the Art Department offers multiple venues for exhibits and lectures. The Ford Gallery, located in Ford Hall, maintains a year-round schedule of exhibitions and artist lectures. It serves as a venue for the work of outside artists, graduate thesis exhibitions, as well as an annual undergraduate juried exhibition and an annual graduate exhibition.
