Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: The spacious, free-standing building on the corner of Coolidge Hwy. and Big Beaver Road, the heart of Troy's corporate corridor, offers solicitous service and upscale fare that includes both seafood and steak. The menus at both lunch and dinner are a la carte, offering such appetizers as fresh oysters and other raw bar selections, tuna tartare and beef carpaccio. Dinner selections include eight fresh fish as well as compositions such as pecan-crusted trout and crab cakes. Steaks range from a seven-ounce filet to a 22-ounce porterhouse.

I eat at Ocean Prime in Troy regularly and have always enjoyed the food, drink, service and ambiance. It has been perfect for an important business meeting, dining with friends or just a great night out with my wife.
I strongly recommend you try OP if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed. If you like vodka, OP is one of the few places carrying Dragon Bleu vodka.....one of the best in the world!
Ocean Prime is really off the Meat Rack! The food is fabulous and the service is impeccable. Brady, the waiter, was especially wonderful! We love the Chilean Sea Bass, the white truffle mac and cheese, and the tuna tartar were amazing. Make sure you make early reservations because the restaurant is booking up fast.

Location, location, location. It's just as important in the restaurant business as it is in real estate. And there couldn't be a better location for an ambitious restaurant than the golden corner in Troy where Ocean Prime debuted two weeks ago.
