Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: A textbook case of a no-frills setting with excellent food. This little spot dazzles just with its shish kebob, baked kibbee, stuffed grape leaves and a full array of mideastern dishes. The sampler platter ($8.95) includes two each of kibbee balls, grape leaves, falafil, along with taboulee, fatoush salad, hummus, baba ganouge, olives and turnips, a virtual cross-section of the fare. Those who've never tried a Lebanese breakfast are in for a treat. Choices include eggs with lamb, onions, pine nuts and spices, eggs with baked kibbee, and eggs scrambled with diced tomato and sumac, the spice made from a bush that grows wild in the middle east. There's lots here for both vegetarians and meat eaters.
