Molly Abraham: An extensive menu of Korean and Japanese dishes is served in handsome surroundings of polished wood and Asian artifacts, with all the amenities of dining including a well-dressed staff. Proprietor Dong Kim did wonders with a setting that had previously housed a Mexican restaurant. Now, in addition to the long sushi bar, where sushi and sashimi are artistic creations, there are barbecues set into tabletops for many varieties of Korean barbecue. In addition to the expected kalbi (short ribs)and bulgogi (marinated slice beef) there are many aimed at the Korean audience including pork belly marinated in wine, squid steak in Korean pepper sauce and marinated beef tripe. The grills are vented from below, so that smoke is kept to an absolute minimum. A list of hot pot and noodle dishes rounds out an impressive selection.

We have eaten at many if not all of the Korean restaurants in the Detroit area. Many are good and should be supported. We go here most of the time. The food is authentic, fresh and great besides this is where many Koreans go. You won't regret it.
