Molly Abraham: The first Michigan outpost of the chain out of Lubbock, Texas offers a menu that goes beyond the typical Mexican rice and beans, enchiladas and tacos to more upscale dishes, served in a courtyard-themed atmosphere with impressive murals depicting Mexican history. It offers a number of seafood dishes typified by grilled bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeno peppers and a touch of cheese, grilled salmon with cilantro, garlic butter and lemon accompanied by a broccoli casserole. Service is emphasized. A notable margarita, as well as other premium drinks from the bar, adds a festive touch. The big restaurant seats 250. \non the web at www.abuelos.com
