CLOSED: Endless Mountains Movie Theatre

Endless Mountains Theatre is the Scranton area's only independently- and locally-owned movie theatre. We co-sponsor many special events and promotions throughout the year. We are conveniently located on Business Route 6 in the shopping plaza next to K-Mart. Within a mile of our theatre is an impressive variety of shopping and dining choices, including: The Viewmont Mall, Target, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, Starbucks, Fresno's, Chuck E. Cheese, and many more. In the summer of 2004, local artist Frank Bonner III painted, on the outside of our building, the mural that you see in the photos above and below. Entitled "Opportunity Taking Flight," the mural depicts an eagle prepared to take to the sky. This beautiful showpiece is unique to our theatre and a wonder for all visitors to behold. The title is also an anthem for our theatre; for as we continue to grow, develop, and improve, we are indeed "taking flight"!
