Molly Abraham: Chris Angelosante's eclectic cafe has been a presence in the town of Milford since 1979. It fell out of prominence for a while, but is now being brought back. Chef Todd Gardner, who formerly was with boocoo and Loving Spoonful, has rewritten the menu, which has departed from the cafe theme toward more mainstream dishes including steaks, typified by filet mignon with Cabernet mustard sauce, as well as pineut crusted whitefish, penne pasta with roasted garlic and Danish lobster tails. The upstairs dining room is completely non-smoking.
