Molly Abraham: After several years on Troy's Rochester Road, this small Indian restaurant moved to a much more visible location on Ferndale's restaurant row, adding another pattern to the international quilt the street has become. The space is small, but the menu is extensive, from an array of the tempting Indian breads, paratha, chapati, naan, and papadam, to tandoori dishes ranging from chicken, shrimp and lamb to a mixed grill, at $12.95 the most expensive dish on the menu, and curries and birianis (a pilaf-style rice dish in several varieties). A weekday buffet is served from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
