Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: A surprising find on a modest Ferndale block, this is an elaborate Asian spot dramatically done up with carefully chosen furnishings and details that extend to the white china and red chopsticks used on the wood-finish tables, some tucked into high-backed booths along one side of the room. Beautiful plates emerge both from the kitchen and the sushi bar. Service is emphasized. Real effort has been expended here and a stylish crowd appreciates it. The cocktail lounge specializes in colorful drinks including martinis and sake concoctions.
