Molly Abraham: It's been almost 40 years of spaghetti carbonara, ossobucco, gnocchi and lasagna for the Antonio Rugiaro family, first in the Dearborn Heights location, and later, expanding to a second location in Farmington Hills, both done up handsomely in a grapevine motif. The focus, though, is always on the solid Italian fare, ranging from classic antipasti of bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and roasted peppers to full-scale veal, chicken and seafood dishes. No surprises on the menu - this, after all, is typical of the Italian-American restaurants that have always been and will always be dear to the hearts of metro Detroiters.
