Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: Dave Mancini named his new spot for his father's hometown in Italy, and it offers top-notch pies in a comfortable, unpretentious setting. This isn't a full-service restaurant. Patrons order at the counter and the big pizza oven is visible in the back of the room, done up with orangey-red walls and tables made from recycled work tables from a Flint plant. In addition to pizzas, there is a good mixed green salad, one pasta dish and one dessert. Soft drinks only

I have tried at least four of the pizzas on the menu at Supino and have not been disappointed. Truly the best pizza I have had in recent memory. The crust is really special and the local heirloom tomatoes are a nice touch.

You can really taste the difference in the fresh produce and sauces they use at Supino! Offering a variety of non-traditional toppings leaves you coming back to try the next one on the list...Just Ask Dave which one he recommends!
