Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade

The Greek Community of metropolitan Detroit will celebrate Greek Independence Day on Sunday, April 6, 2008 with a parade in downtown Detroit.

After the parade, a short program will be held near the end of the parade route. Following the program, dancers in colorful ethnic dress will perform a variety of Greek dances representing the various regions of Greece.
