Toronto's Dave Young, winner of National Jazz Award for Best Bassist, will sit in with the Spencer Barefield Quartet for this performance. The rest of the group includes guitarist A. Spencer Barefield, saxophonist Dave Mc Murray and drummer Djallo Djakate Keita. The ensembel will play songs by jazz greats including Coltrane, Monk, Silver, Mingus and more.
