Molly Abraham, Detroit News Restaurant Critic: In the space that once housed City Cellar and Blue Martini, the proprietors of Chen Chow Brasserie have added an upscale Italian restaurant around the corner in the same complex. Service by a professional staff is very much emphasized. Executive chef Benjamin Meyer and chef de cuisine Joseph Cosenza, both recently at SaltWater, handle the menu of pastas, steaks, veal and seafood dishes served in a sophisticated pair of rooms. Downstairs is a members-only club with an eyepopping black and crystal decor called the Hamilton Room.
